The 425 Art Gallery in Kent, OH will host the Christian O’Keeffe Memorial Art Show this Saturday June 27 in commemoration of former Kent State student Christian O’Keeffe.
O’Keeffe, considered by many a highly talented poet, died in a train accident three years ago in Kent, OH. The event is to remember O’Keeffe and to celebrate the art of Kent with an open mic poetry reading, local art, and live music from local artists.
The event starts at noon on Saturday June 27 with the open mic poetry reading from 3:00PM-4:30PM followed by live music from 5:45PM until 1:45AM. Visual art will be shown throughout the night as well.
